DevConcepts PH has solid experience in the management and delivery of development and capacity building programs and activities in the Philippines and overseas.
Our experience include managing the Australian Government Volunteer Programs in the Philippines, including the former Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD) Program (2007-14), Volunteering for International Development from Australia (VIDA) Program (2007-11) and the Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID) Program (2011-present). Since 2007, we have successfully supported over 400 Australian volunteers who were placed in the Philippines. We have also worked with over 200 local organizations in various organization development, capacity building and sustainable development initiatives.
We have successfully delivered numerous training programs and workshops for Australian volunteers and local organizations, including an Australian aid funded Host Organization program planning workshop in September 2008. In August 2009, we hosted and organized an international workshop of In-Country Managers, Regional and Program Managers of Austraining International that was held in Manila and Tagaytay City, Philippines. In addition, we have been engaged to facilitate strategic planning workshops for various Philippine organizations, as well as training sessions in Australia and Indonesia for volunteers and volunteer managers.
In 2013, we successfully managed the conduct of a Program Perception Study for the Australian aid program in the Philippines. This study involved the conduct of household surveys, key informant interviews and focused group discussions in 10 provinces in the Philippines, with close to 1000 respondents. The project was undertaken in partnership with Sustineo Pty Ltd. of Australia and the Research Institute for Mindanao Culture.
DevConcepts is also currently providing in-country support to two Australian Government scholarship programs – the Defence Cooperation Scholarship Program and the Endeavour Awards. Both Programs are managed by Scope Global an Australian project management company.
